As some of you may or may not know, Barbara has technically been studying abroad this semester (although she's been very present at polo practice)! Now that she's actually leaving, Cory is going to be stepping up as reigning president from here on out, so you can expect to start getting the group texts and e-mails from her.
If for some reason you still have any questions, grievances, emergencies, etc. (or you just want to chat) Barbara can still be reached in Tokyo via her personal e-mail BarbaraNBlumenthal@gmail.com or on the LINE texting app available on all smart phones. Our season is officially over now, wrapping up with a win against Westmont and a loss to Cal Poly at regionals! We're very proud of our women for working hard all season and coming as far as they did.
Here's to another great season next year! The USPA has finally posted the calendar for the West Coast I/I Regionals at Central Coast Polo Club. We're playing our first game on Friday. Click here for the full schedule.
![]() Spring is in the air, and you know what that means: time for foals! This little foal is our newest neighbor, born just last week across from our tack shed. Apparently when he grows up he's going to become a polo pony. Fight on, Jalapeño! For those of you wondering where our token gelding has gone, don't worry, he's still alive! Cognac injured himself in February doing something stupid in his stall, and is taking the rest of the semester off to recover. The grooms estimate it will take 3-4 months, so hopefully he'll be re-joining us in the fall.
In the meantime, he's still in his usual stall so be sure to stop by and say hello! |
